Spinner dolphins pass most mornings, and on a winter day you may look up to a humpback breaching offshore.

By afternoon you're in the water. A shaded place to sit in the side yard under mango, banana, and citrus, with easy in-and-out access right there. Grab a mask or a board and go. Snorkel straight off the property, or paddle out and take a few. Rinse off, back up the steps, and you're on the lanai with a cold drink.

Inside, vaulted wood-lined ceilings carry the view through the house.
